This site provides information about climbing updates along the Highway 50 corridor east of Placerville and west of Camp Sacramento, including Sugarloaf and the Phantom Spires, and a site along Highway 88 adjacent to Silver Lake, called Old Camp Bluff. The goal is to add information to your knowledge about new and changed climbing in these areas.
Numerous other crags could be added if climbers are willing to provide new information about those areas. Keep in mind that the routes that are adequately detailed in available guides (i.e. Supertopo and Carville) are not covered here; however, some corrections to mistakes in those guides are described in this website.
